Our R&D team have mature product design and mold development capabilities,after 6 years of unremitting efforts,finally in 2024 our aluminum cup which has applied for a patent for its appearance is officially launched to the market.
Our aluminum cups have been certified by FDA and SGS ,and can pass the GRS certification.Our aluminum cups are completely free of BPA.Each order goes through 3 times of full inspections before shipment, including raw material quality inspection, semi-finished quality inspection, and finished quality inspection.In the finished product inspection process, we have a set of advanced fully automatic visual inspection equipment, the inspection accuracy can reach 0.003 mm, and the inspection accuracy rate is as high as 99%.
Our factory have been passed ISO and BSCI audits.Our production capacity can reach 100000pcs per day.As per customer's requirements,our team also can provide customized product solutions, including OEM and ODM services,to help customers occupy the local market.

In November 2019, under the influence of plastic-free packaging, the company's top management began to think about how to contribute to the true sustainable development of the earth. Therefore, the decision to develop aluminum cups was made. We believe that aluminum cups are the most lasting solution. Soon, we confirmed the design drawings of 350ml and 500ml cups.
On 17th December,2019,we made a sample with solid aluminum rods through the lathe rolling process.The aluminum cup sample was 0.18mm thick,72.9mm diameter,160mm height.Capacity was 16oz,500ml.
From January,2020 to August,2020, in order to improve the stacking experience, the R&D team redesigned the diameter of the aluminum cup. During this period, the drawings were repeatedly modified,finally two designs of 500ML aluminum cups were confirmed: ① Sealed design, with a 307 model lid, which needs to be sealed with sealing machine ② No lid, rounded edges, used directly as a cup At the same time, the Zhongrui team searched for and screened high-quality suppliers continually to improve the supply chain.
In September 2020, we used the spinning process to make 350ml (12OZ, 100mm high), 500ml (17OZ, 140mm high), and 650ml (22OZ, 160mm high) samples, and tried to produce 1,000 cups of each in small quantity. But only 1 piece of aluminum cup can produced in one minute,production speed was too slow,and because the thickness was 0.38mm,the amount of aluminum used was too large,the overall cost was too high.
In 2021, we cost the whole year to searched for professionals related to aluminum cup production nationwide, conducted in-depth research on the process that can achieve an aluminum cup wall thickness of 0.18mm, at the same time looked for aluminum coil manufacturers who can meet our requirements.
On December 17, 2021, we still used the spinning method to produce samples in four different colors, namely red, green, blue, and aluminum, and exhibited them at the exhibition for the first time to test market feedback. But the market feedback was not good, there were many people asking but 0 transactions. This made us realize that the aluminum cups we developed have two disadvantages: high cost and low efficiency.
In December 2021, the mold supplier was confirmed, and approved mold drawings of 350ml aluminum cup and 500ml aluminum cup. Both molds were developed at the same time.
On January 11, 2022, according to the mold supplier's requirements, the equipment for testing the molds was brought in. As of December 2022, the supplier had spent a year developing only one 350ml mold. However, after testing more than 20 kinds of aluminum in different types and thickness, the mold still could not produce a finished product, and ultimately failed.
In January 2023,ZhongRui decided to set up a mold R&D team to develop molds by ourselves, and re-evaluated the aluminum supplier. As of July 2023, the R&D team spent 7 months repeatedly testing and modifying the mold, and finally successfully developed a 500ml aluminum cup (16oz, height 125mm). However, during the production process, it was found that defective products would appear after every 5,000 aluminum cups were produced, with a defective rate of up to 50%.The instability of production quality made it impossible to carry out mass production, so the product had to be remodeled again.
From August 2023 to May 2024, the R&D team once again concentrated on testing and modifying the mold repeatedly. In June 2024, the final cup shape was confirmed, 16oz (500ml), 113mm high, 0.16mm thick, and 15g in weight. After testing, it can be mass-produced. Since then, the aluminum cup with a patented appearance produced by ZhongRui is officially launched to the market.
The R&D team is still committed to developing aluminum cups in other sizes. On the road of environmental protection, ZhongRui hopes to encourage more consumers to participate in realizing the Real Circularity of the earth.
